Inspiration/motivation to draw is directly proportional to number of exams within a given week--!!! Why?!

College art classes make me miss my high school art teacher a lot. She always uses flowers for observational sketches, so I suddenly felt like drawing a lot of flowers!

This piece is gorgeous! I love the colors, but especially the lines: the drawing makes you feel the delicateness of the flower petals as they wither and fall (I wish I knew more about flower language so I could get the symbolism), the softness of Oz's gravity-defying hair, and the folds of his clothes.... And the details! The little flowers under Oz's hat! It all looks so real. :wow:

There is also a slight eeriness to the picture, with the darkness beneath Oz and the drops of golden light, hinting at the destructive power that B-Rabbit holds. The fact that it's upside down also hints at Oz's instability. It's also reminiscent of an hourglass, what with the falling petals and Oz's time ticking away. (Funny you didn't add his watch.)

The only technical flaw I can see is that Oz's hand is too small for his body, but it fits the impression of fragility and the ephemeral feel of the drawing, so it's no big deal.

Great work!
